This is an easy-playing, reliable sax with good intonation.
It'll be less frustrating for your kid, which means they'll be more apt to enjoy playing.
And whether you trade up this sax to a nicer one or just sell it, you should get a good percentage of your money back out of it.

The neck is in very good condition, never pulled down or dented.
