This is a great-playing, affordable tenor sax.
Nice, room-encompassing bottom end, without being boomy.
And the upper register plays easily and can cut through with briskness, though not screechy.
Part of the reason for this could be due to the brazed-in tonehole chimneys.
The pivot screws have distinctive H.N. White locknuts.
It IS a nice, solid horn.
Ergos are good, easy to get around, key action good.
Is horn is largely dent-free except for a couple on the bow.
And there is a good amount of lacquer-wear.
The bare brass parts have mellowed to a nice stable patina.
You'll be hard-pressed to find a better-playing tenor under $600
