The Selmer Series III is one of the great modern tenor saxophones.

Great richness and flexibility of tone.
Great ergonomics. Nothing plays like a Selmer Paris horn.

Keyed to high F#

You'll be hard-pressed to find used Series III tenor under $3000.
With a list price of $7290, you can find them new, discounted, ranging from $4200 to $4800
But it's hard to find them used, people who own them tend to hang on to them.
I just looked and I could find only one used Series III tenor on eBay, the auction starting at $3999

This horn had a serious dent on the body, right near the left-hand pinkie key cluster.
It also had a moderate dent on the bottom of the bow, right on the spine of the bow brace.

Both dents have been removed. The body is straight and the horn is in great working order....it plays great.
It's hard to even tell the dents were there. A lot of work went into restoring this horn, not just mechanically, but cosmetically as well.
You'll make no apologies with this horn...and you'll have no excuses either.

There is some light playwear to the lacquer to the usual places.
I encourage local players to come in and check this horn out.

This horn is a consignment with me, so I have to sell it no returns/no refund.
Another reason I'd like to sell it locally...so the buyer can satisfy himself/herself this is a beautiful, great-playing horn.
